COPYWRITER
Even as a child, I clearly did not like to be interrupted while reading!
I earned my English degree during countless nights immersed in writing papers about literary giants like Dostoevsky and Tolstoy. These experiences were not only joyful but also all-encompassing, igniting a deep desire in me to pursue writing as a lifelong career.
My love for reading and writing extended beyond academic assignments. I surrounded myself with stacks of books, and my living space was covered with random jots, jingles, and soliloquies scattered across my floor and makeshift desks. I used anything within reach as bookmarks. Ribbons, plant leaves, bird feathers; I slipped them between the pages like delicate streams of gold and copper.
This passion naturally evolved into a professional path, during and after a long production career, leading me to write copy for blogs, marketing e-blasts, web articles, social media posts, and hundreds of production bids. I also authored a marketing book that was honored with a Gold Addy award. My writing has served a diverse range of clients, and I have developed the ability to seamlessly adapt my voice to suit each unique audience.
While I occasionally use AI tools at the request of clients, I am steadfast in my belief that they should never be the sole source of output. A genuine and unique voice can’t be replicated, and most audiences sense when they are being addressed by LLM. Although I’m adept at prompting chats, my true strength lies in the years of storytelling ingrained in me.
Ultimately, my goal on every project is to tell a story and make the audience feel, regardless of the medium.

SHORT STORY
It was New Year’s Eve, just a couple of weeks before the pandemic hit, and I was in Rome, Italy for a solo trip. I’d just had a celebratory bourbon in a noisy little café and was walking back to my hotel to watch the fireworks, when I came upon this musician playing Bohemian Rhapsody on a dusty cello. He was melancholy and serious as he arched his bow in the chilly air, his scruffy dog curled like a comma on his instrument case. The street itself was quiet, and I sang along softly as he played the “Mamaaaa, oooooh” section of the song. It was a moment I would never forget, a connection across continents.
VIDEO SCRIPTS
Atlanta Jewish Federation - The AJF approached Artifact when I was Executive Producer, requesting an Explainer Video to tell the story of their new initiative called “Front Porch.” They had no script or storyboard, so I met with them several times to interview their leadership and members, and then wrote a friendly and welcoming script that told the story of community and partnership with other Jewish Federations around the globe. This video would be sent out to their current and new members. I also produced/project managed the entire video - from storyboard to delivery. Animation by Paco Vergachette, Jeff Wiener and Kyung Ko.
